Michel Ciry : L'Œuvre en éclat
Celebrated for his paintings, draws and
engravings, Michel Ciry devoted much of
the 1940s and 1950s to composition. His
catalogue of roughly a hundred works reflects his evolving creative style, from nearly tonal salon music to the Darmstadt school. This first recording ever dedicated to his music, provides an outline of this multifaceted artist’s diversity, revealing an unexpected connection between Poulenc and Boulez.
